19 immigrants rescued from the English Channel.

19 immigrants were rescued by the British Coastguard this morning whilst trying to cross the channel in an inflatable boat.
They are now on British soil and will never leave.
They know that if they make the attempts that we will rescue them and bring them here so it's worth the risk.
What's the solution? Take them back to France or leave them at Sea?

The solution includes making sure they make themselves useful and pay their taxes while they're about it. Also, if you have a government so inclined you could have a broader policy to ensure they integrated in UK society successfully or have the option to go back where they came from and gain employment there.

Blow pipes and darts might be a little harsh, so the humanitarian thing to do is put the fuckers on the next ferry back th France or even a cargo flight to their country of origin.

The UK always seems keen on Australia's points based immigration policy.
Might be worth following their boat policy.
First make up stories about the people throwing their children overboard
Then rent a nearby island and build some concentration camps and keep people in them for about 10 years

Maybe the UK could stock the English Channel with large sharks, Crocodiles and Seas snakes, seems to work quite effectively Between Australia and our closest neighbours, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea?

I understand why these people risk life and limb to set foot on these shores and I admire their tenacity to do so.
They are not the problem. The problem is the rewards on offer to those that manage to get here.

I see it as I won the lottery of life being born in the UK and taking advantage of all the great things it offers. They won the lottery of life by travelling for thousands of miles and risking their lives.
In the end we both have the same win.

Poor sods
I have no doubt that should we leave the EU, the French will waive and assist thousands of immigrants through their borders, right up to Calais and on ferries to the UK.
We will then be faced with thousands of refugees all heading to our shores. Folkestone and Dover will look like Calais.
As a civilised nation, we will have to accept them

Are there not a load of old WW2 sea forts dotted about the seas?
Dump them all on those, with enough supplies for them to make a go of life and, if they realise that turning their FREE accommodation into a palace is the route to getting a job - and hence becoming an asset to the nation, they can be issued with temporary UK passports - but any descendants will not qualify for a full British passport for 3 generations hence.
Once that lot have turned the fort into something respectable, trash it to prepare it for the next lot.
